Busy but Happy

I have been a terrible blogger but with Christmas and New Years coming up life became hectic. My bosses were meeting with more people then before to get everyone in here before the close of the year and I finally have stuff to do at my job since I have passed my tests and am way more comfortable with our clients. Boss 1 will be in India for 2 weeks which is crazy to me. I always think of India as sweaty and dirty and full of strong smells of food and animals. Boss 1 will probably love it he is such a nut. Boss 2 will be pretty much around but not really available so next Thursday and Friday I will be all on my own. Hopefully there will be no crisises but knowing my luck they will.

I have wonderful news. My amazing wonderful boyfriend Jarrod asked me to marry him!! it is such an exciting stressful wonderful thing. He originially planned on asking me at the hike we did that morning but it was kinda well a bog with a power plant next to it my poor love. So while I was in the kitchen he comes up behind me and says "Hunny I love you so much, will you spend the rest of your life with me?" I, thinking it was just something he was saying because he felt especially loving at that moment, said "sure hunny". Then he put the ring in front of me and I freaked it was such a happy moment. The ring didn't fit, poor Jarrod, but it was beautiful with my grandmother's diamond in it and rose gold roses next to the diamond. Jarrod designed it himself. I love him so much.

Our problem is we have huge families and lots of friends. There is no way to shrink the guest list. And every day it feels like someone else is returning to my life and Im like theres no way I could leave them out! So we might just have it at Jarrods which is scary to me. I like his mom and the house and yard are beautiful (although messy at times) but his mom will have sooo much control then. But we might have like 200 guests and I am not trying to have my dad spend a fortune on one day. I just want a huge party with friends and fun. I want to look beautiful but not overdone. I want my bridesmaids to be comfortable and I just want it to go well. Which is scary hard to do haha. But I should be able to figure it out, I have lots of people eager to help. A wedding is a wonderful thing.

Another major event, Jarrod got offered the job. $60,000 a year. Its so wonderful. Plus Mead WestVaco will pay for any college and has a pension. There is no way he could turn it down. It does mean another year apart but we can make it, we have before, I just love him so much and I can't wait to be able to spend my life with him. We are so lucky that he would have such a great job offer right off the bat. I am ready to compromise and try and work from home in the future. Everything looks like it will be wonderful.

Stupid Paper Shreader

How hard is it to learn not to put too much in the paper shreader. Does it really take that much longer to shread your paper in 2 sets instead of one. The assistant from upstairs is trying to use our shreader and had now clogged it like 8 times all she does is go o crap turn it off and then TRY AGAIN. WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF PAPER! It must just be too early for me that it could annoy me this much but it is so gd loud when she jams it. Then instead of pulling out the jam while it is off it sounds like she is turning it on and using something to push it through! Oh for the love of Pete. Now she is talking to Mr. Rob the Cradle about how there is crap all over the floor. She is so eloquent that lady.

Charlie is a nut but I love him

I am now in my second week with Charlie and I guess you could say the honey moon is over. While he is the greatest dog of all time, completely sweet and quiet most of the time.He is sooo curious and wants to smell and get his nose in everything. Walks are more like stop and go power walks and now Charlie is in the habit of waking me up at 7 in the morning on the weekend because he doesn't know the difference between Saturday and Wednesday. Sigh but I wouldn't trade him for anything with his cute cocked head and fuzzy little feet. He makes me smile all the time. We had his little vet trip and to my pain the doctor hurt him checking his hips. Charlie has hip problems. But he is afterall 8 years old and a small dog so this should never be a problem. But o it broke my heart when the doctor made him cry, though not meaning to. I was told multiple times what an angel I was to take in a dog at Charlie's age but I cant imagine getting any other one. He may be lucky but he was just what I wanted even with his yucky warts.
